Hollywood Beach Sweep Clean-Up Events
The Hollywood Beach Sweep Clean-Up Event is held on the second Saturday of every month from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Volunteers meet at Charnow Park, located at Garfield Street and A1A, to collect litter and cigarette butts from Hollywood Beach. Please complete the REGISTRATION FORM and bring it with you on clean-up day.
Guidelines for Beach Sweep participants

Minimum age to volunteer is eight, and an adult must accompany minors.

Volunteers must wear proper cleanup attire. T-shirt and shorts are acceptable.

All volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes — No flip-flops.

It is recommended that volunteers wear a hat and sunscreen.

It is a good idea to bring their own water and a snack.
Safety and Equipment: City staff will provide clean-up and safety instructions; trash bags and gloves the day of the event.
Parking: Volunteers meet at Charnow Park, 300 Connecticut Street on Hollywood Beach. Carpooling is highly recommended as parking is limited in the Garfield Parking Garage. A temporary parking pass will be issues based on vehicle information provided on the registration form. One pass shall be issued per vehicle. Parking passes will not be issued on the day of the event. Free parking is not guaranteed for all volunteers.
Registration forms must be submitted no less seven (7) business days in advance of each Beach Sweep event to process requests in the system.
