My name is Christopher Luv, I’m a 26 year old singer/songwriter from Miami Florida. I started playing music around age 11, and have played in various bands and projects throughout my 15 year music career. I would consider my sound a mix soft rock, reggae, and a bit of hiphop. At the moment, I have a few songs out on streaming platforms and gig weekly throughout the South Florida area.
My music career really started to take off in 2021 when I began playing and performing as a solo artist. For about two years (2021-2022), I would say I went out to 3-4 open mics a week and learned what it meant to play in live environment and network with my fellow musicians. I slowly started playing paying gigs as the time went on. Whether it was one or two shows a months, I was happy with the progress I was making. Consistency was the name of the game and it was beautiful to experience to see a gradual progression instead of an overnight success. I am a point now (2024) in my career where I’m averaging around 3-6 paying shows a week at legendary venues like Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort, Perez Art Museum Miami, and Elbo Room. However, that might of not been the case if I did not lay down the initial foundation and grow with my peers. Currently I play with a few different musicians including Rey Diez, Jered Rutan, and Jesse Balber; around the South Florida area as a duo, trio, or full band. I am as well working on releasing a few more singles this year, eventually leading to full length project.
