@cityofhollywoodfl Today marked two major milestones in Downtown Hollywood!
This morning, Walgreens celebrated the grand opening of its beautiful new 12,000-square-foot store on the ground floor of the Bread Building, with Walgreens CEO Mike Motz and the Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce joining the celebration.
This afternoon, the Bread Building celebrated reaching 90% occupancy, an impressive achievement for the luxury residential community that opened in 2025. Located at 1770 S. Young Circle, the development has transformed a site rooted in Hollywood’s history into a modern community featuring luxury residences, panoramic views and a major new retail anchor.
Mayor Josh Levy, members of the City Commission, City staff and representatives from the Greater Hollywood Chamber of Commerce joined the afternoon celebration and later toured the new Walgreens, met with the store manager and welcomed the team to Downtown Hollywood.
Congratulations to the Bread Building and Walgreens on an exciting day of progress for Downtown Hollywood!
