Let’s come together to celebrate WORLD OCEANS DAY on Hollywood Beach for a day of sunshine, morning beach cleanup, education booths and exhibits, public turtle feedings, house tours, food trucks and more! This is a free family event.
10am – Noon:
Morning Beach Cleanup with Free Our Seas and Stoked On Salt, sponsored by Rock The Ocean.
Meet up at the MEEC Courtyard to sign a waiver and grab cleanup supplies. We have a limited supply of buckets so if you have your own, please bring it along. Wear protective gloves and shoes at all times. Do not pick up any sharp items. Community Service hours available. All ages are welcome.
10am – 2pm:
MEEC Ocean Education Booths and House Tours.
Public Feedings: 11am and 1pm
