For the past two thousand years, millions of Christians have celebrated the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ, the cornerstone of our faith. We invite you to join us for this year’s Easter Weekend as we reflect on the profound significance of Christ’s victory over death and the new life He offers to all who believe.
Our Easter Weekend begins with a ‘Good Friday’ communion service at 7pm where we commemorate the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. This service is reflective and worshipful. Several hymns set to string and piano, a biblical teaching on the sacrifice, Scripture reading, and the observation of the Lord’s Supper, allow for a meaningful spiritual experience entering into Easter Sunday. Childcare is provided.
On Easter Sunday, we have two special services. Our Easter Sunrise Service is a much-anticipated public service held at Hollywood North Beach Park at 6:30am. All are welcome to attend. Enjoy the beautiful sunrise with live music and an uplifting message. Baptism to follow (pre-registration required; no walk-up baptisms will be performed).
Following our Easter Sunrise Service, at 10:30am, our Main Easter Service will be held at Sheridan Hills Baptist Church. You’ll hear stories of people who have experienced God’s transformation, joyful and triumphant songs, and a biblical teaching on the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Childcare is provided.
