Light Up the Night Presented by Dania After Dark
Experience the enchantment of the “Dania After Dark – Light Up Dania Beach” event on November 15, 2025 from 6 PM to 9 PM at Dania Beach City Hall as we kick off with a magical ceremonial Christmas tree lighting, marking the start of the holiday season. Families can create lasting memories with a visit from Santa and his helpers, perfect for capturing holiday photos.
Glide gracefully on our ice skating rink, providing frosty fun for all ages, and explore our charming Christmas village, brimming with holiday cheer. Indulge your sweet tooth with free delectable treats and savor a variety of culinary delights from our food vendors, offering an array of delicious options. The evening will be filled with live entertainment, adding to the festive atmosphere and keeping everyone entertained.

UGLY SWEATER COMPETITION
Break out your most outrageously festive holiday sweater and join our Ugly Sweater Competition! We’ll be judging creativity, holiday spirit, and of course ugliness!
Two categories:
– Kids Division
– Adults Division
Winners will take home bragging rights and a special prize! So deck yourself out in tinsel, lights, or whatever festive flair you can find the uglier, the better!
Head to our stage after the Drone Show or listen for the MC announcement to join the fun!
FREE ACTIVITIES
Ice Skating Rink: A festive ice-skating rink with smooth, glistening ice surrounded by twinkling string lights and cozy seating areas, perfect for winter fun and memorable moments with family and friends. Socks are required. Vendor will provide Adults and Children skates and helmets.
Holiday Themed bounce houses: Cheerful holiday-themed bounce houses decorated with festive colors, creating a fun and bouncy wonderland for kids to enjoy during the holiday season.
Arts & Crafts Station: Unleash your creativity at our complimentary holiday craft station.
Face painters: Get into the Holiday spirit with festive face painting by our talented artists.
Character photo opportunity: Delightful holiday themed characters in festive holiday attire will be taking memorable photos during the event.
Storyteller: A warm and inviting storyteller will be seated by a cozy fireplace or festive backdrop, surrounded by holiday decorations. She captivates children with enchanting holiday tales, creating a magical and heartwarming experience for all.
Drone Show: A spectacular drone show lighting up the night sky, with hundreds of synchronized drones forming dynamic shapes, colorful patterns, and animations. The display celebrates the holiday season with breathtaking visuals, creating a mesmerizing experience for the audience below. Dania Beach Blvd will be temporarily shut down from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Shuttle buses will be rerouted during this time.

Bring a smile to a child’s face by donating to BSO Fire Rescues Annual Toy Drive! Our Fire Rescue team will be on-site at the City Hall entrance, ready to collect toys and share the holiday spirit with families in need.

PARKING
The City of Dania Beach is also offering complimentary parking and shuttle service from the Dania Beach Casino to City Hall. This shuttle will run continuously from 5:30 PM – 10:30 PM.
