Are you South Florida’s next Picasso? Let this Pembroke Pines art contest decide
If you’re an artist looking for South Florida acclaim, Pembroke Pines has got the gig for you. The city is accepting submissions for its 21st Annual Art Competition now through Monday, May 4, and offers large prizes, gallery space and a shot at being named the tri-county area’s best.
Creatives over the age of 18 in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties are eligible to apply in one of six mediums: digital art, drawing, mixed media, painting, photography and sculpture.
Up to three works can be submitted per category, but artists must stick to one medium. Applicants must download, fill out and submit a form to the Studio 18 Art Complex — which will host the accepted works — at studio18@ppines.com.
