Pearl Jam Kick Off 2025 Tour with Early Favorites, Covers, Dark Matter Songs: Video + Setlist

Mixing performances of “Even Flow,” “Alive,” and “Dark Matter” with a cover of Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down”

Pearl Jam launched their 2025 US tour on Thursday night (April 24th) at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida. The 25-song set featured a mix of early favorites, songs from their most recent album, Dark Matter, and covers.

To open the show, the band played “Oceans” from their debut album, 10, and followed up with “Present Tense” from No Code. Other early cuts sprinkled throughout the setlist included “Even Flow,” “Corduroy,” and “Porch.” Songs played from Dark Matter included the title track, “Wreckage,” and “Running.”

The encore was heavy on covers, kicked off with frontman Eddie Vedder’s solo acoustic rendition of Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down.” The band then mixed in live favorite “Do the Evolution” and the classic “Alive” with covers including The Who’s “Baba O’Riley,” The Byrds’ “So You Want to Be a Rock ‘n’ Roll Star,” and Victoria Williams’ “Crazy Mary.”
