City of Hollywood Jamaica Hurricane Beryl Relief

The City of Hollywood has organized a hurricane relief effort for the people of Jamaica who have been impacted by Hurricane Beryl. Through July 20th, the City’s Fire Department will be accepting donations of the following items that have been requested by the government of Jamaica:

  • New blankets, sheets, sleeping bags and cots

  • Yard waste bags and work gloves

  • Industrial sponges

  • Solar-powered lights

  • Flashlights

  • D-Size Batteries

  • Tarps

  • New towels and washcloths

  • Personal hygiene kits

  • Professional first-aid kits

  • Diapers and baby wipes

Only new, unopened donations listed will be accepted.

Primary Donation Site:
Fire Training Facility, 3400 N. 56th Avenue, Hollywood, Florida 33021
Donations accepted at this location from Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

 

Secondary Donation Sites:
Station 5, 1819 N. 21st Avenue, Hollywood, Florida 33020
Donations accepted at this location from Monday-Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Please note that First Responders are on active duty and are responding to emergency calls at this location. If no one is there at the time of your arrival, you may leave your donation at the door, and it will be collected when the Firefighters return.
