Hollywood’s Pinnacle 441 Draws Hopefuls with Housing Lottery Amid Rent Hikes
In Hollywood, a new affordable housing development named Pinnacle 441 is preparing to open its doors, calling on hopeful residents to throw their names into the hat—or more accurately, into the lottery.
Concerned by the city’s skyrocketing rents, officials have devised a lottery system to distribute leases in an equitable fashion.
Starting bright and early at 9 a.m. this Friday, eager applicants can sign up for a shot at affordable housing by visiting the City of Hollywood website and clicking the “Lottery Registration” button to complete their application.
While the registration button won’t be live until March 15, potential renters have until midnight of March 25 to join the ranks of lottery participants.
An email confirmation will seal their entry, as confirmed by the City of Hollywood’s official announcement.
