Dolphin’s Quarterback Tagovailoa brings holiday cheer to children’s hospital

Tua Tagovailoa did not spend Thanksgiving morning focused on his usual game preparation. Instead, he dedicated the day to the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, meeting families, speaking with young patients, and performing Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” to lift spirits.

The visit was part of the Tua Foundation’s annual Thanksgiving outreach, an effort he and his wife, Annah Tagovailoa consistently prioritize. It is typically a quiet and meaningful moment during a demanding week, but this year the gesture gained far more attention than expected.

The visit resonated because of its sincerity. Tua arrived without cameras or a formal agenda. Annah also spent time with families, helping them take photos and supporting parents who were facing difficult circumstances.
